Phase 1b/2a interim data for lixumistat in advanced pancreatic cancer presented at the ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium.

ImmunoMet Therapeutics presented Phase 1b/2a interim data for lixumistat (IM156) in advanced pancreatic cancer at the ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium in San Francisco, January 2025.
The data came from the combination study at MD Anderson Cancer Center and showed encouraging early efficacy, including clinical responses in half of evaluable patients treated at the recommended Phase 2 dose, with a disease control rate of 80%.
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma remains one of oncology's most treatment-resistant tumours. Lixumistat's OxPhos-inhibition mechanism targets the metabolic dependency that resistant tumour cells rely on, and these early data support advancing toward a Phase 2 proof-of-concept study.
